The WAH Audio KT-1 is designed, engineered and hand-crafted in British Columbia, Canada. It will reproduce any
music source material accurately; without embellishment or omission. The KT-1’s design will minimize room acoustic
interactions which facilitates integration into most listening environments. It makes no special demands of amplifiers
or associated equipment. The WAH Audio Statement KT-1’s design will aesthetically complement a broad range of
living and listening spaces with high quality materials, construction, finishes and style.

150 mm Kevlar fiber composite cone mid-woofers with large magnets and high damping, durable rubber surrounds.

Crossover
Acoustic 3 rd order @ 2.7 kHz with high quality components
Coils are air cored, hand trimmed, high Q, and high saturation current, with low series resistance
Capacitors are hand matched metalized polypropylene film with low dissipation factor
Resistors are hand matched wire-wound with low inductance
Components are point to point soldered, and lead lengths are minimized to obviate circuit board trace related artifacts
and potential lead inductance issues.

Enclosure
Genuine hardwood veneers with hand rubbed satin finish, laminated to Aluminum faceplate with polymer damping
Rigidly braced hardwood plywood and MDF cabinet structure
Internally damped with natural wool fibers
Cabinet materials are locally sourced from sustainable producers when available

System Recommendations
Use with hi-fidelity sources and hi-fidelity amplification with good
current capability for best results. The KT-1 is designed to work
well with any good amplifier. Minimum impedance is 6 Ω. The impedance is mostly resistive, except for typical bass
tuning peaks; and consequently, it is an easy load for most quality amplifiers and receivers. The KT-1 should provide
realistically loud sound pressure levels across the full frequency range with most musical sources and adequate
amplifiers in typical small to medium residential listening environments before the onset of audible distortion.
